Summary - The Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform administrative and office support activities for various departments as assigned. Responsible in directing all incoming calls to the appropriate contacts as well as receiving and directing visitors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Responsible for provide administrative support for accounting, trade and assigned departments which includes; preparing of daily deposit, process Co-op for reimbursement from Pella Corporation, update Ad Expense spreadsheet for general manager, mail customer statements, update Lead Source Analysis reports, booking and shipping reports, headcount and CSR’s. Responsible for ordering all business stationary and literature as well as office supplies. Duties also include screening and directing telephone calls, receiving and registering visitors in log and directing them to the appropriate contact. Assist in the recruiting process by distributing and collecting employment applications and schedule interviews for manager with job candidates. Administrative Assistant must be responsible in handling all information and tasks listed with the highest level of confidentiality.


Education and/or experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); knowledge in computers, language, mathematical skills and customer communication skills

Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written English language skills are required as well as excellent customer service skills - in person and on the phone.

Professional Skills - Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and have demonstrated ability to follow assignments through to completion. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required. Must be able to problem solve, think clearly, creatively, and positively when faced with obstacles. Must be able to develop & maintain trust, respect, and confidence of coworkers, and managers.

Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, type or feel and to talk or hear.
